Introduction

Abstract

Two years after the publication of the Dossier Emozioni: sentirle, parlarne, tradurle (Zanoni and Zuccheri 2022), the contributions collected here aim to continue the interdisciplinary discussion between language, translation, and interpreting dedicated to the expression and narration of emotions. The Dossier follows a Study Day on emotions held on March 15, 2023, at the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna in Forlì. The interest in topics such as emotional expression in various contexts and the high participation of researchers and students in the event convinced us of the importance of producing a second dossier on the subject, involving additional scholars from diverse academic, professional, and research backgrounds. The contributions collected here should therefore be understood in this context.
